I try to see the good in life, but good things in life are hard to find.

Please don't make one unless you are ok'd by me. I shall only allow a certain number of people to create a foundation number of Duohunds.Duohunds were thought to be a long extinct species, but there are a few still existing. They are quite shy creatures, which is why they were thought to be extinct, they don't make their presence known too often.
Duohunds aren't strictly equines as such, though the DNA is related enough that they can interbreed with normal equines, and due to the small gene pool they often do, though this does dilute out the typical Duohund traits they are known for, eventually after a few generations, there is unlikely to be any of the remnant Duohund in the horse, it is a very recessive bloodline. To keep it going, it is advised to cross back to another full Duohund every third generation at least, or cross parts to parts.
A Duohund is a very typey creature. It is a very lanky individual, with a definite abdominal tuck, long slender legs. It is characterised, and hence named, from the two horns on the top of its head. Its two canines usually protrude from the upper length, the length of which can vary from just the tips to almost sabre lengths. Duohunds however are omnivorous. When they hunt, they use the two horns, the longer one to spear the kill, and the shorter one to stop it from sliding off. The Duohund is definitely build for speed, it's long, whippy tail displays their feelings well. When they are unhappy it'll be tucked between their legs, happy will be carried up over the body. Otherwise can just trail behind. They have unusually long hair features, on the limbs, a long mane and tail, though it is long however, it is very silky and whispy, and not at all thick.
Duohunds are a small breed, generally standing between 13 and 14 hands high, though occassionally you'll find smaller or larger individuals.
Pureblood Duohunds are vaguely related to sighthounds, so generally come in any of the sighthound colours, such as brindle, fawn, black etc, and usually with white markings. However, when crossed and then crossed back, the colour combinations are limitless.
The Duohund breed is created by myself. Please do not use or steal for use as your own. Only approved Duohunds are allowed to be created.~
